Fun and uniquely made from the rare Loin de L' Oeil grape, meaning “Far from the Eye” referring to the vine’s long stems. A thousand-year-old white varietal that was almost abandoned. Thankfully, two young winemakers in the Gaillac region of southwestern France resurrect the grape. The result is the delicious “Les Rials” from Domaine De La Chanade. This wine is our perennial summer favorite! Dry yet fruity, with floral and citrus aromas and flavors of tropical fruits, medium weight, always refreshing and the price can’t be beaten. Fantastic with salads, seafood or enjoy as an aperitif.
