Yakima valley is the oldest AVA in Washington and the source of 40% of the state's wine production. The blend is 55% Mourvedre and 45% Cinsault. Look for aromas of black fruits , dark cherry and plum with hints of blackcurrant, chocolate and spice. An old world earthiness is present on the palate, black olive and blueberry. Hints of smoke and well balanced tannins and acidity.
